Bought my MX17 alienware with battery like DELL Inspiron N7110 Battery, DELL Latitude 5537 Battery, DELL 9TJ2J Battery, DELL Precision M4400 Battery, DELL KR854 Battery, DELL P267P Battery, DELL 318-0397 Battery, DELL BTYVOY1 Battery, DELL C0C5M Battery, DELL 7XC9N Battery, DELL 451-11817 Battery, DELL Alienware M17X R3 Battery in Dec 2015 and its been used for work on and off airplanes doing software presentations and gaming most nights since new and has never missed a beat. I use two monitors and output to a 27inch 3D screen and still playing the latest games nearly 3 years on.
The only maintenance I have had to do is take the back off and vacuum out the fans which can get clogged up and cause heat issues if not resolved.
