Fujifilm Showcases Portable Digital Radiography System

Stamford, Conn.-based Fujifilm Medical Systems USA Inc. displayed its new FDR Go PLUS version portable digital radiography system among its suite of mobile digital radiography (DR) solutions at the 103rd scientific assembly and annual meeting of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA).

“The nature of the radiology department demands a mobile workplace with smaller and lightweight detectors along with compact portable digital X-rays,” says Johann Fernando, PhD, chief operating officer of Fujifilm Medical Systems USA. “The FDR Go PLUS version is poised to dramatically improve workflow and performance to meet the most challenging mobile demands of imaging.”

The new system with battery such as Fujikura BTR-08 Battery, Fujikura 11HR-4/3FAU Battery, Fujikura FSM-18R Battery, Fujikura FSM-18S Battery, Fujikura FSM-60R Battery, Fujikura FSM-60S Battery, Omron HBP-3100 Battery, Edan M8A Battery, Edan SE-300G Battery, Edan SE-300 Battery, Biocare ECG-9801 Battery, Biocare LBP144 Battery features a new sleek redesign with a collapsible column for maximum visibility while traveling. The portable system also features an extra-large display for optimal previewing at the bedside, enhanced maneuverability, and smooth quiet travel to minimize patient disturbance. Other enhancements include an optional user-adjustable drive handle, wireless barcode reader, an RFID card reader, and extensive dedicated storage areas. Software features include a new workstation software with automated keypad display, quick start, and options for the company’s latest Virtual Grid simulation software and Dynamic Visualization II image processing.

Meanwhile, Fujifilm has begun installations of the FDR AQRO portable system—unveiled at last year’s RSNA— across the United States. The FDR AQRO is a complete mini-digital x-ray system that combines high sensitivity and refined image processing advancements to generate high resolution images with low patient dose.
